Bushfire Report Card

Twelve Months ago Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan had a lot to say  about the Bushfire Royal Commission recommendations:

• Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan would implement the recommendations of the Bushfire Royal Commission in full.
• Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan would “act urgently” to give bushfire communities “clear direction”.
• Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan would keep Victorians safe.

With Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan, a lot changes in 12 months.

• Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan have broken their promise by failing to implement all of the Royal Commission recommendations
• Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan have done nothing on a host of promised “urgent” safety measures.
• Ted Baillieu and Peter Ryan delayed Fire Action Week and slashed Victoria’s firefighting airforce.
